The Work of Reparation First Station of the Cross: Jesus is Condemned to Death
From "The Traditional Catholic Mystical Theology of Healing," book #38 in the Traditional Catholic Mystical Wedding Theology for Every Soul Series.
Two vital points are covered while beginning this epic journey for every soul along the Way of the Cross - in our Lord's time and throughout life - that is also the Way of Sacrificial Love and the Way of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus.
Travel this costly path with our Divine Redeemer, Divine Restorer, Divine Remedy for All, and the Divine Bridegroom of every soul, in the company of the entire human race including His Immaculate Mother, as each one freely chooses to serve either one Master or some other.
“He who trusts himself is lost. He who trusts God can do all things.” ~ Saint Alphonsus de Liguori
STRIVE TO MAKE CHRIST-LIKE CHOICES AT ALL TIMES AND IN ALL PLACES
“If we would completely rejoice the heart of God, let us strive in all things to conform ourselves to His Divine will. Let us not only strive to conform ourselves, but also to unite ourselves to whatever dispositions God makes of us. Conformity signifies that we join our wills to the will of God. Uniformity means more. Uniformity means that we make one will of God's will and our will. In this way we will only what God wills. God's will alone is our will.” ~ Saint Alphonsus de Ligouri
To begin, injustice meets and is unified - in time, through time, and for all time - with Divine Justice executed perfectly by the most perfect will of Almighty God our Father through our Savior's sacrificially loving and selfless cooperation with I AM's plan which is His Divine Economy of Salvation, for the greater honor and glory of the Most Holy Trinity first and foremost and then for the sake of the entire human race (all souls through all time).
The Perfect Plan comes to fruition throughout the course of time and by Divine Design to include each human being's free-will choice, individually and also collectively, to cooperate with God in imitation of and in union with Jesus or to not.
The incredible end result of each person's holy submission to Divine Perfection and with purity of intention as One in Christ immolated, at any and all personal cost, is sanctification and then eternal salvation.
What wonders!

"By My Holy Face you will work wonders, appease the anger of God, and draw down mercy on sinners." ~ Jesus to Sr. Mary of St. Peter
THE WORK OF REPARATION TO THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS’ FIRST STATION OF THE CROSS: JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH
V. We adore You, Christ, and we praise You.
R. Because by Your holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.
“The heart of man will never find true peace if it does not empty itself of all that is not God, so as to free itself all free for His love, that He alone may possess the whole of it. But this the soul cannot do of itself; it must obtain it of God by repeated prayers.” ~ Saint Alphonsus de Liguori
Two points are considered for every soul during this Work of Reparation First Station of the Cross: 1) What God is doing when He remains silent during our communications to Him, and 2) what we are doing when we remain silent during God’s communications to us.
WHEN GOD IS SILENT AND WE ARE NOT
“Remember that He permits every thing for your good, and do not lose confidence:” ~ Saint Alphonsus de Liguori, How to Pray at All Times
It may have seemed that perhaps God ignored, or was not even paying attention, when Jesus - His innocent and completely sinless only begotten Son - was proclaimed guilty by His own creatures and then sentenced to be brutally executed in public like a criminal.
Not only did Almighty God allow this grave injustice to take place, it was His Will that Jesus, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, would in the course of human history become man and be born of the Immaculately Conceived Virgin Mary for the sake of the entire human race; that He would live a simple life of holy obedience, poverty and self-denial; that He would properly teach mankind by His words and example; and that He would then willingly allow Himself to be unfathomably humiliated and suffer beyond human comprehension to redeem us of our sins before willingly giving up His life on a Cross for our sake, after having been betrayed by someone closest to Him.
It was also God's will that He would triumph over death, descend into hell, on the third day resurrect from the dead, ascend into heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father Almighty - and from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
Let us faithfully model our lives on the life of our Lord and, guided by the Holy Spirit, conform our free will to the most perfect will of Almighty God at all times come what may - always confident that our Creator hears us, guides us, truly loves us, and longs for our love in return.
How important it is during difficult times to obtain wise counsel, and there is no better counselor than Almighty God. Let us be careful and prodent during times of tremendous suffering and go to Him as Jesus did for direction and strength. There, in quiet prayer and contemplation, we will always find the God’s right answers in His most perfect timing, so keep listening.
God never gives up on us; God’s people never give up on Him.
WHEN WE ARE SILENT AND GOD IS NOT
“When we hear people talk of riches, honors and amusements of the world, let us remember that all things have an end, and let us then say: 'My God, I wish for You alone and nothing more.'” ~ Saint Alphonsus de Liguori
How easy it is to accuse God of not hearing us when so often we ignore Him.
Wise parents understand that just as it is important for their child to listen to them when they speak, it is vital that parents listen to their child when it is the child who initiates a conversation.
In a similar manner, we must be ready to listen to God when He chooses to speak. When He speaks, we must grant Him a proper reply.
We must not short-change God first and foremost and then ourselves by insisting He listen to us exclusively, and only when we are ready.
“Never fail to give God a proof of your confidence by asking His advice and praying to Him to enlighten you to resolve on what will be to His good pleasure. "Put Thou words in my mouth, and strengthen the resolution in my heart." (Jdth. 9:18). "Tell me, O Lord, what You wish me to do or to answer, and that will I do. 'Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth.' " (1 Kgs. 3:9).” ~ Alphonsus de Liguori, How to Converse With God
