Flat Out Recovering
"One day the Lord caused me to hear these words at the foot of the tabernacle: 'My son, he who embraces Me embraces thorns.'" ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
Taking an antibiotic, face and sinuses still burning but no where near as brutally badly, sinuses no longer pouring out clear fluid, gross and fine motor coordination improving after rapidly declining mid week, energy seriously lacking, tooth and gum seem to be healing, liver overworking, Himalayan salt water mouth rinsing without fail, not really moving, back of the base of the neck not as unfathomably sore as yesterday but still very sore, lower back better but still significantly aching, hot packs as always incredibly comforting, and a much needed new mattress is God-willing coming soon to a peaceful and hidden and blissful French bedroom chapel and beloved work space - for the sake of every soul. +
Almighty God Himself is overseeing this latest round of reparation and there was another epic dream overnight leading into a much welcomed weekend to recover following a wonderful ten hour Friday at the clinic properly caring for so many good people in need of encouragement and compassion who also were so willing to provide them to you.
"Do you know why God subjects you to so many miseries? That He may bestow on you the riches of heaven." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
Thanks be to God for everything, for JM at the chiropractic clinic, for Dr. M who provided three spinal adjustments this week, for our exceptional patients, and for the dental team who once again looked after me so well while and also after things looked like they were going so good.
Most likely the torus palatinus was a factor in the electrifying penetration of a nerve during the dental procedure/crown repair Tuesday afternoon, and the subsequent unfathomable facial burning that felt like a firework exploded inside my entire face as well as the sinus drainage that was a very novel experience.
Thanks be to God there is no lingering lack of sensation/feeling where it had been numbed, and hopefully the remaining burning in my sinuses will continue to subside.
UPDATE ON THE TRIDENTINE DOCUMENTARY'S PARTS 3 AND 4
"Let us fear more to be deprived of sufferings than a miser fears to lose his treasures." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
Such a beautiful lesson came right there in the vehicle while on the way to work yesterday/Friday morning, having missed Holy Mass at Saint Joseph's for a second day in a row to rest a little longer prior to a ten hour day at the clinic.
It had to do with Divine Union with Christ's complete offering of Himself as Almighty God willed for the sake of the entire human race, for the greater honor and glory of God first and foremost.
This experience of complete self-giving as Almighty God wills in imitation of and in union with the Divine Bridegroom of every soul was so very beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and many happy tears were shed while suffering.
Contained within each tear from each eye was sacrificial, selfless willingness to endure all at all costs to self as well as gratitude, charity, amazement, caring, dignity, courage, etc. - all offerings of eternal worth comprised of love that lasts forever.
"In your trials, have recourse to Mary, and She will remedy them." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
There was a dream overnight that had to do with a fire that took place at a certain location that has not had one in the natural and during it two fingers from my writing left hand (the pointer and the middle fingers) were burned quite badly, but they did not char.
"He who truly loves God regards as little what he suffers for God's sake." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
The video version of the next chapter of the documentary entered into production; it is a beautiful lesson for every soul that is the middle part of two favorite and defining chapters, "Sacrificial Gentleness" and "Sacrificial Courage."
That lesson focuses on two weddings and love that lasts forever.
I can't remember the title off hand and am not ready to get up to go get the printed version of it to find out.
Gratefully resting.
The entire manuscript for the Tridentine Documentary, Parts 1 - 4 that includes Chapters 1 - 36 is being pieced together into a new word processing program, since Joseph Karl Publishing's main operating system is still not back yet from repairs, having now moved on without it.
Work will begin soon on final editing what has already been written while continuing to add to it, as production continues on the unfinished chapters in print and on the video versions of the chapters not yet completed.
The documentary's manuscript, expected to be released on the Feast of Saint Joseph on March 19, 2026, is expected to be over 200 pages.
The documentary's Part 3 will be released Christmas 2025, and Part 4 will be released on Candlemas, February 2, 2026. They are expected to be an hour and a half long each.
The entire documentary is expected to be six and a half hours long.
While the contents for all six and a half hours is already here, the material keeps coming during every Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin at Saint Joseph's.
What wonders.
"The soul is a seed which God sows in the field of the Church; to produce fruits, it must die under the strokes of pains, sorrows, contradictions, and persecutions." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross +
